Not because anyone forgot they needed it — because nothing was watching the date. SquadSpot watches all of them.
Each member profile holds their full set of credentials alongside the rest of their record — a coach's accreditation and working with children check, an official's qualification, a first aid ticket, a safety induction, or a shooter's firearms licence number, categories and expiry. Members can upload supporting documents from their own login, so your records stay complete without your committee chasing paper.
SquadSpot watches every expiry date for you and sends reminders to the member — and your committee — well before a credential runs out. No more discovering at the range, or mid-event, that someone's licence or certification expired weeks ago. The chasing happens automatically, and the responsibility shifts off your administrators.
Because credentials live on the live member record, SquadSpot can act on them. A lapsed working with children check can flag a member before they're rostered to a junior side; an expired firearms licence can hold a renewal or stop a check-in until it's resolved. Either way, a stored date becomes active protection for your club. The same gating works for any credential a club treats as non-negotiable, keeping you compliant without manual policing. For sports clubs specifically, see how this applies to coaching accreditation, officiating and Working With Children Checks in our article, What sports clubs need beyond membership software.
