Turn an iPad into your club's check-in kiosk. Members check in on your SquadSpot digital check-in, full screen. When they tap Print badge, the badge prints straight to your Brother label printer, with no print dialog.
SquadSpot sends your club the App Store link when we set up your kiosk. Open the link on the iPad and tap Get.
Open SquadSpot Kiosk and follow the steps on screen:
Then check in a test member and tap Print badge. One badge should print.
Check the iPad's Wi-Fi. The kiosk tries again every 30 seconds. You can also open Kiosk settings from that screen.
Make sure the printer is on, has labels, and is on the same Wi-Fi as the iPad. In kiosk settings, the printer should show Ready.
On the printer, turn off P-touch Template mode (Menu › Template Settings › Template Mode › Off) and Confirm Print, then restart the printer.
In SquadSpot, check that Check-in badges is on and Auto-print is off.
Check the roll is DK-11201 and the kiosk's label size is 29 × 90 mm. If the badge is still cut off, lower Scale in kiosk settings.
Tap Staff sign-in, enter the staff PIN, and sign in to SquadSpot with Remember me ticked. The kiosk goes back to the check-in page by itself.
Hold three fingers on the screen for 2 seconds and tap Refresh check-in page. Anyone can do this; it doesn’t need the PIN.
The iPad is off its charger and running low. Plug it back in. The kiosk should stay on charge at the range office.
Email sales@squadspot.com.au and we'll help you get set up.
SquadSpot Kiosk doesn't collect any data of its own and doesn't track anyone. Check-in details go straight to your club's SquadSpot account, as they do on any other device. See our privacy policy.
